The Cessna SkyCourier’s flight-operable door is a specialized modification designed within the cargo door to support airborne operations for both personnel and cargo. Installed as an alternative to the standard cargo door, the door can be opened in flight, allowing for the precise deployment of paratroopers or airdrop of supplies, while maintaining standard ground operations of the cargo door. Designed for durability and ease of use, the air-operable door integrates seamlessly with the versatile SkyCourier platform, making it an ideal solution for military, humanitarian, and special mission applications where rapid deployment and operational flexibility are crucial.

The so-called In-Flight Operable Door consists of a specialized modification integrated into the aircraft's cargo door, allowing for air operations for both personnel and cargo transport. Installed as an alternative to the conventional cargo door, the structure can be opened during flight, enabling the deployment of paratroopers or the precise delivery of supplies.

According to the manufacturer, the system was designed to offer durability and ease of use, while also maintaining standard cargo door operations on the ground. Integration with the SkyCourier platform seeks to meet demands in scenarios that require rapid mobilization and high operational flexibility, characteristics considered essential in military, humanitarian, and special missions.
