Embraer Phenom 300: the best-selling light jet in the world

Embraer's Phenom 300 business jet has become the world's best-selling light jet for the 11th business year, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (Gama).

Embraer delivered 59 units of the model in 2022 and, to date, has accumulated more than 700 aircraft delivered. It is in operation in 36 countries and totals almost one million eight hundred thousand flight hours.

“For 11 consecutive years, it (the Phenom 300) has maintained its leadership in the market and exceeded our customers' expectations, whether by combining best-in-class range and speed, or by offering the highest residual value in the market,” according to the president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, Michael Amalfitano.

The Phenom 300E is capable of reaching Mach 0.80, making it the fastest production jet certified for single-pilot operation, capable of a cruise speed of 464 knots (859 km/h) and a range of 2,010 miles. waterways (3,724 km) with five occupants and Nbaa IFR reserves.

Other technological advances include updated avionics with a runway departure warning and avoidance system (ROAAS) - the first technology of its kind to be developed and certified in business aviation - as well as preventive protection against the windshear phenomenon (windshear), emergency descent, Perf, Told, and FAA Datacom, among others.
